Very good

Very busy on days with good climbing conditions. THE place for climbers in the Frankenjura I’d say. Good and cheap food, but sometimes a little too crowded.

Delicious food, nice and rustic atmosphere in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. The campsite is just really beautiful, very natural and rudimentary, but exactly what we were looking for (not a campsite with permanent campers and pages of rules).

It's a shame, we were really looking forward to a meal with new climbing friends. Were there 7:50 pm. Our friends came just before 8:00 p.m. Then we left hungry because nobody thought it necessary to inform us that the kitchen would close shortly after 8. When I was told on the website where it was 9:00 p.m. I was laughed at "not in autumn, ha, ha". (that was in the middle of September). Wouldn't everything be so bad if you hadn't looked at the cards with four people, one of us asked for a little more moment because it hadn't been decided yet. After that, our looks were ignored for a long time while other tables were tidied up. You think "just take it easy, you don't want to rush anyone, if they have the peace and quiet, that will be fine, maybe there is a lot to do in the kitchen anyway ...." But no, after we got to point 20 : 30 had managed to get the waitress again, we were informed that the kitchen had long been cleaned and there was nothing more to be done. I'm really angry about that, I've never seen anything like it. Giving cards to hungry people and not telling them when the last chance to order something is a real cheek! And how to deal with it too!

We came with a caravan because a nice lady told us the day before that it wasn't a problem. When we arrived we were advised that no caravans are allowed there. So we had to start the journey home. Very annoying and just the last one at 180km each way.

We went there for dinner today and absolutely loved it. The food was very, very good - I haven't eaten that good in a long time. The price-performance ratio and the portions are absolutely great and more than sufficient. The staff was also very personable and friendly. We will definitely come back here again. Highly Recommended.

Spontaneous dinner here after a great day in the wildlife park. It was a perfect end to the day! Very tasty and above all fresh food! The quality is right here and at a great price. The two wait staff, who were very friendly and courteous, also deserve praise. The location is quiet and idyllic in a small village. Great to relax after a busy day. So I can only recommend eating here when you are in the area. We didn't need a reservation on a Saturday evening, but we wouldn't necessarily bet that it will always be that way. We'd love to come back!

Food is great and there is also a vegan dish. Optimal basecamp for a climbing vacation.

After umpteen visits to Bernd and Winnie, no matter whether with or without a dog, only one rating: 5 stars with an exclamation mark. Certainly our contact point again soon.

Large dining room, very fast service. Weismainer beer in the tap. Good selection of roasts. Sauerbraten could be a bit tender.

The climber's campsite and climber's inn in Frankenjura par excellence. Breakfast is decent and plentiful. The Franconian cuisine at dinner is delicious. Always my pleasure.

Would like to lie now, so it remains a tip. Was very delicious and reasonably priced there. Most food under 10 €. And the waiters were also very friendly

Amazing food, great service

We had a nice place in the sun outside. The waitress was immediately very friendly and took the order. The Schäuferla was 1A. Tender and almost detached itself from the bone. The sauce slightly thick as it should be. Only mankerl for the price could have been a small salad in it. Even with the duck there is nothing to complain about. All in all, recommended.

I ate a Schäuferla, that was super good! And I've tried the veal cream roast, I've never eaten anything so good! Butter tender and tasty also excellent! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Aufenjedenfall recommended :)

Extremely tasty food. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and go there. It is a pity that they are not open for lunch except on weekends.
